Lifeguards are responsible for the safety of beach, pool, or waterpark patrons. They must continually monitor guests through our eyes or binoculars while not allowing themselves to get distracted by other duties. A lifeguard’s job requires quick decision-making skills and effective communication with guards in adjacent areas.
